Rosselkhoznadzor is recalling an animal drug for treatment of coccidiosis in farm animals

Rosselkhoznadzor is recalling a veterinary drug Diclacox Forte used in treating and preventing coccidiosis in farm animals, including poultry, rabbits and small domestic animals due to the poor quality. Batches with affected product are being withdrawn from sale and will be destroyed, according to the regulator.

This recall relates to the Diclacox Forte products with the following batch numbers and validity:

- batch number 1010720, valid through 07.2022;

- batch number 1010920, valid through 09.2022;

- batch number 1011020, valid through 10.2022;

- batch number 1010321, valid through 03.2023.

The affected product was manufactured by OOO Belfarmacom, the Belgorod Region.

According to the regulator, the product is being recalled due to the incompliance with the requirement for “quantitative content of diclazuril" and "pH."

The product has been withdrawn from sale. The regulator has instructed the Rosselkhoznadzor Department for Moscow, the Department for Moscow and Tula Regions and the Southern Interregional Department of Rosselkhoznadzor to monitor the withdrawal of product from market and destruction of affected batches.

Additionally, OOO NPK Askont + (the Moscow Region), the organization authorized to accept complaints from consumers regarding the veterinary drug Diclacox Forte, has been informed about the need to take measures in accordance with the law.
