Italian feed producers will undergo thorough audits to ensure their adherence to Russian legal requirements and legislation in the EAEU countries. “The primary objective of these inspections is to validate the assurances previously provided by the Italian veterinary service that verify compliance with Russian standards and ensure that feed products meant for the Russian market meet the requirements established in the EAEU.
According to the service, the inspection group will also visit an Italian laboratory responsible for monitoring the quality of feed produced in the country.
As a reminder, there are currently 23 Italian companies included in the list of feed manufacturers for non-productive animals authorized to supply their products to Russia. Their permit is valid until November 30. The service regularly extends this period. The latest modifications to this list were implemented almost a month ago, at the end of October 2023.
