“Researchers at the Moscow Veterinary Academy named after K. I. Scriabin and the Veterinary Diagnostic and Treatment Center for the Moscow Veterinary Academy have developed and successfully applied a method for in vitro fertilization in dogs and provided for the healthy delivery of puppies,” the representatives of the institutions told Veterinary Medicine and Life.
They also added that a joint reproduction laboratory was created for this purpose. The researchers have solved a number of practical issues, developing methods for cycle syncing, fertilization, and embryo transfer.
“Pet owners in Russia will soon be able to solve the infertility problems of their pets with the help of IVF,” said the researchers.
