“FGBI “ARRIAH” is the key producer of vaccines against foot-and-mouth disease (FMD) and other illnesses in livestock and pets. Today the institution manufactures 1,8 billion doses of vaccines and plans on increasing its capacities to 9 billion,” said the Service.

It was also pointed out that the largest Russian manufacturers of livestock vaccines are willing to ramp up veterinary medicines production, switching to new suppliers of raw materials and consumables.

SPE “AVIVAC”, for instance, has already increased monthly sales of animal drugs by 10-12% as compared to the last year. This company manufactures vaccines and pharmaceuticals used to diagnose infectious diseases in poultry.  SPE “AVIVAC” plans to increase production capacities by at least 20%. The annual turnover of this company approximates 10,5 billion doses.
