According to the information agency, the agreement was signed by Ivan Yanchukov, the Director of AO ‘Moscovskoe’, and Kamara Fatoumat Mohamed Samake, the Director of the Center for Artificial Fertilization and Embryo Transplantation in Mali.
Ivan Yanchukov explained that Mali had previously been importing cattle semen from France. However, due to the deterioration of relations between the two countries, the African Republic decided to discontinue these supplies.
The agreement not only includes plans for supplies of breeding material from Russia but also encompasses professional training. According to the information available on the company’s website, Mrs. Kamara paid a visit to AO ‘Moscovskoe’. During her visit, she had a meeting with the head of the enterprise, where they discussed quality standards for sperm products, production details, selection activities by the breeding company, and the significance of embryo transfer for genetic progress in the cattle population.
Earlier, in an interview with Yulia Melano, the chief editor of ‘Veterinary Medicine and Life’, Ivan Yanchukov stated that the breeding enterprise ‘Moscovskoe’ is the sole Russian company exporting its products internationally. The company provides breeding products to Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Azerbaijan, and Belarus. Its annual exports amount to 100,000 doses of sperm.
