The amount of the tax deduction is proposed to be limited to 50,000 rubles for each animal. Within one accounting period, the deduction is due for two pets only. The benefit is to be provided solely to the pet owner and only after the submission of documents confirming veterinary expenses, the report says.
Veterinary Medicine and Life has previously highlighted the opinion of industry members on the initiative introducing a tax deduction for veterinary services.
